Of course with Valentine's Day just around the corner, half the challenges around at the moment are love-themed, and the other half can be used for Valentines. We don't "do" Valentines in the UK, not as it's done in the US. Here, people send cards only to their other halves, or guys send them to the girl they like. That's it. But my American teacher friends tell me that there, each class member has to have a Valentine so that "no kid is left behind".
I've made this one to send to the US for the class of one of my friends. I hope it arrives in time.
I'm entering it into these challenges:
Basic Grey: love is in the air (Kioshi strips)
CASology: fairytale (isn't all love?)
CAS-ual Fridays: love letters
Cute Card Thursday: corners (it's all on the bottom right corner - I hope that counts)
Stampavie: love

Very cool card!! Love how you can use up all your scraps too!!
Ooh, scrappydappydoo! This is so much fun sweetie, and I love the stitched edged heart. Lovely! Hugs, windswept up the tail Squirrel xx
Can't decide if you're very romantic or very cynical, to say that all love is a fairytale! lol! Your card is beautifully romantic with no cynicism at all, so I'll go with that! Love the bold pink and the use of the little strips of dp. Thanks so much for playing along with CASology this week!
totally gorgeous, what a fabulous design!
Many thanks for joining in the Cute Card Thursday Challenge this week!

This is adorable. I think it is wonderful that you used our scraps since I always keep them, but never know what to do with them.
In any country this is a fantastic Valentine, Squirrel! Well done!!
And, yes, we do go a little overboard in America, but hey, you can never have too much heart!
Such a lovely card!

This is beautiful! I just love the little pieces of decorative paper that the heart is nested in! So pretty!
Yep! No favoritism allowed here in the U.S. That means I have 39 valentines to get ready between my two sons' classes this year! Thank goodness they are easily purchased in inexpensive packs at the store! LOL! :)
