Quick birdie card

It's my brother's birthday coming up, and DH chose this pack of whacky and very sweet laser-cut chipboard birds from Twiddleybits (how wonderful is that name!) when we went out last weekend. I couldn't think of anything better than combining one of them with this these challenges from Our Creative Corner and Stampin' for the Weekend (I hope the sentiment counts as a stamped image) who both wanted male cards, Cute Card Thursday who suggested Someone Special, Colour Create who gave us the colours khaki, aqua, cream and brown, and this sketch from the Creative Card Crew:

I used 7 Gypsies and Basic Grey Wisteria papers, and was amazed at how well they went together, considering they are completely different colours and subjects. The circles were cut with my Cuttlebug using the QuicKutz nested circles, and everything was inked with Versamark pinecone to match the laser-scorched effect on the bird. The stamped sentiment is from my stash.

You never cease to amaze me with your cards. 7 Gypsies and Basic Grey have always been my favorite papers. I love the little bird, he looks sweet as can be and the colors are perfect together. Amazing work, as always!
