Scrap Whispers September Blog Hop - covering books
Thank you for joining us again for the Scrap Whispers September Blog Hop!
Firstly please join the DT in waving a fond farewell to Kimberly, who has decided to move on. We all wish her the very best with her family and her gorgeous little boy. Thank you for all your energy and enthusiasm Kim, and don't lose touch - keep coming back and playing along with us?
This month, in readiness for school, the lovely Nilsa has provided a simple tutorial for transforming a regular school notebook into a work of art that anyone would be proud to carry to class. I haven't got any children, and I don't know any children to make things for, so I have covered a mini-album that I won, in readiness for filling it with beautiful decorations and photos.
I've broken into my beautiful ScrapJazz prize Basic Grey Sweet Threads collection pack for the first time. It is SO PRETTY it takes my breath away. It's too pretty to use, but I must - I will - and I have to do justice to it now!
I took the covers off and sprayed the holes end with Smooch Limolicious ink. I inked the paper, added the fibre, the title and the flowers before sticking it on and putting it all back together. The pages are black and all different with little pockets, slots, flaps, frames. I can't wait to finish it off now! Doesn't that cover just make your mouth water? LOL
All you have to do now is to hop through all our wonderful DT members' blogs, leaving a comment on each guaranteed to make their day. Then go back to Scrap Whispers for Nilsa's tutorial, and make your own beautifully simple/simply beautiful creation. Post it on your blog, linking back to the Scrap Whispers blog, and link us up to your blog so we can all come by and leave some happy comments on yours. You could win a fabby prize, which is so new that I have no idea what it is yet! All will be revealed on the Scrap Whispers blog.
Here are the DT's blogs:
